Filling in the Blanks

It struck me suddenly this past week that there was sort of a disconnect between the goings-on at the beginning of the year and now.

If you recall, waaay back toward the beginning of the year, we kept telling you, the viewers, that something big was coming and to stay tuned. We kept saying this… and then, naturally, nothing big ever happened. Well, nothing as one big event, anyhow.

In case you hadn’t noticed, we’ve been trying to post one new design a week (usually on either Saturday or Sunday, in case you want to pencil us in on your schedules). We decided to do this to keep things fresh rather than post a whole slew of designs all at once, then give you folks nothing else for months at a time. It’s also our tricky way of keeping people coming back to the site. Are we devious? No, it’s just smart business.

In other news, I don’t know if you noticed a couple of weeks back when a:dam posted a sweet typographical poster he made in his spare time for fun. I love it… it speaks volumes. If you enjoyed that, make sure you let him know. I happen to know for a fact that he does a lot of little pieces like that just for fun, and would appreciate the feedback.

I will be posting a new design next weekend, then I’m on vacation for a few weeks, so a:dam will be keeping you company on a solo basis. I know for a fact that he has a few fantastic designs up his sleeve that I’d love to see up on the site by the time I get back. When I get back, I’ll make sure to post some of the other designs I’ve been busy at work on. Keep checking back all summer long!
